Here is a preview of one of our new works that will be released in San Antonio on the Day of the Dead at Casa Manos Allegres in La Villita. This one is called “Mejores Amigos” (best friends). It has a skeleton with his skeleton dog stopping for a break while on a hike in the mountains. There is another couple of skeletons hiking in the background. I have been wanting to add a dog to the lineup for quite some time and I am glad that I finally came up with one that was right. This is actually based on a picture of my partner, Chris, and his dog, Penny. She passed away over a year ago, but she is included in our Day of the Dead altar.
In November this will be available in limited edition prints and next year will be available in mugs and other items in the Frenzy Art lineup.
