As promised, here is the preview of one of my newest works. It shows death waiting in the cemetery with a banner to welcome us all. There are fireworks in the sky and he is holding both a sickle and a balloon. One for work – the other for fun. Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure? There is a mausoleum, several graves and death is wearing a name tag, in case you didn’t recognize him.
As I mentioned before, this is one of my new prints that will be released at an event in San Antonio on October 28. It will be at Casa Manos Allegres in the La Villita area. I will let you know more as things get finalized. During the month of October I will also be the featured artist at Kerbey Lane Cafe.
In October “Bienvenido” will be available in my limited edition prints along with all my other Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) art. Greeting cards will be available in 2007.
